Melanie Daniels V.N. DIP CABT Animal Behaviourist.

I am a COAPE (Centre Of Applied Pet Ethology) qualified Companion Animal Behaviourist. I specialize in assessing and treating behavioural issues in both cats and dogs. My background also includes working as a Veterinary Nurse and in animal rescue, which equips me to address a diverse range of behaviour problems.

Problems I Can Help With

The sort of behaviour problems I regularly deal with in dogs and cats include:

Reactivity towards people or other dogs.
Phobias and fearful behaviours, e.g. Fireworks and Thunder
Excessive barking.
Nervousness.
Toileting problems.
Separation problems.
Destruction.
Marking / Spaying / Soiling.
General control and training problems such as pulling on the lead and recall.

Each case I work on is unique, and I work with you and your cat or dog, giving you advice on how to modify your cat or dog’s behaviour during and after a behaviour consultation.

With my guidance, we can work towards modifying your pet’s behaviour, resulting in a happier home for everyone.
